Synopsis

Not a rescue story. A rebuilding one.

American Tales of Triumph follows several people across the country as they rebuild from homelessness, addiction, and crisis — in their own words, on their own timelines. There are no narrators telling you how to feel. Just the work, the setbacks, and the slow proof that change is possible.

When people have the inspiration, community, and practical tools to change, transformation becomes possible.

What it covers

Four Threads,
One Truth

The film moves between four people and four cities — but every thread lands on the same idea: nobody rises alone.

Safety first

Before healing comes stability — housing, safety, the basics most recovery stories skip past.

The hard middle

What actually happens in year two, when the crisis has passed but the rebuilding hasn't.

Community

The people — sponsors, case workers, strangers-turned-family — who make the climb survivable.

Being of service

How people who've been through it start showing up for the next person in line.

“

I almost backed out three times. Watching it back, I'm glad I didn't — someone out there needs to see this exact story.

They didn't ask me to perform my pain for the camera. They just kept showing up, week after week, until it felt honest.

My kids will get to see who I was becoming, not just who I used to be. That alone was worth saying yes.
